# Messages and program guide

> **Controlled preview:** The affiliate portal is not generally available in production. This page describes the implemented interface for shops explicitly admitted to the portal rollout after the required browser/UAT evidence is complete. File attachments remain subject to the separate upload capability boundary.

## Messaging your program

When your program enables chat, the **Messages** page is a direct conversation with your program administrator. Type a message, or attach files — **up to 10 files, 5 MB each** (drag-and-drop or paste an image; some file types are blocked for safety). Images preview inline, and you can load older messages. The **Messages** item in the menu shows a badge when you have unread replies.

If chat isn't enabled for your program, the page tells you messaging isn't available.

## The program guide

The **Guide** is your program handbook — how commissions work, sharing tips, and answers to common questions. Topics appear as an expandable list; when there are more than a few, a search box helps you find one. If your administrator hasn't published a handbook yet, the page says so (and offers to open Messages if chat is on).
