# Portal settings

> **Controlled preview:** The affiliate portal is not generally available in production. This page describes the implemented interface for shops explicitly admitted to the portal rollout after the required browser/UAT evidence is complete. Live payout rollout requires separate safety evidence and approval; do not infer that every payout path is technically unreachable before that approval.

## What it does

**Settings** is where you manage your profile, secure your account, choose how you get paid, and submit your tax information. It's a single page of stacked sections.

## Profile

Set your profile photo (with a crop tool), first and last name, display/company name, phone, website, and social handles (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube). Save with **Save profile**.

## Tax & preferences

Set an optional **Tax rate** (may be applied during payout processing) and your **Portal language** (English, Español, Chinese, Deutsch, Français, Português, Italiano, Arabic).

## Payout account

Choose your **Payout method** — PayPal, Bank transfer, Store credit, or Other — and fill in the matching details (PayPal/store-credit email; or bank account-holder name and last-4s). A **Readiness** chip tells you whether you're ready to be paid and lists anything still missing (for example, "No payout method selected" or "Payouts are not enabled by the merchant"). ## Account security

* **Set / change a password.**
* **Two-factor authentication (MFA)** — scan the QR code (or enter the secret) in an authenticator app, then enter the 6-digit code to **Verify and enable**.
* A **Security completion** bar shows how well your account is protected.

## Tax information for the US-only v1 payout scope

Supported US affiliates can declare their tax residency and submit a W-9:

* **US tax resident → W-9** — legal name, business name, tax classification, address, TIN type (SSN/EIN) and TIN, and a signed certification. Foreign-affiliate payouts and W-8BEN/W-8BEN-E processing are deferred from the approved v1 launch scope. A foreign-tax data surface in the implementation does not authorize foreign payout processing. Once a W-9 is filed, the page shows its submission date. ## Notifications & privacy

* **Notifications** — choose Email and in-app delivery per message type. Essential account and security messages are always on.
* **Privacy & data** — request a data export or request account deletion (with confirmation).
