# Recruit affiliates

## What it does

There are several ways to grow your affiliate roster: add people manually, invite your existing Shopify customers, let people self-register, or import in bulk.

## Add an affiliate manually

1. Open **Affiliates → Add affiliate**.
2. Fill in the account information (name, email, program).
3. Save. You can also bulk-add via CSV on the same screen (with a migration-friendly review step).

A slug and discount code are generated automatically; the starting status follows the program default.

## Invite existing customers

Turn your best customers into affiliates:

1. Open **Affiliates → Invite customers**.
2. Search your Shopify customers by name or email.
3. Send an invitation. Invited customers show an "Invited" chip; you can revoke a pending invite.

## Let affiliates self-register

Publish a program and share its **registration page**. Registrants land as Pending (or Active if the program auto-approves). ## Bulk import from another platform

Moving from UpPromote, Jaka, or Refersion? Use the **Migration Center** to import your affiliates and coupons with a safe dry-run first. ## Marketplace listing

On qualifying plans you can list your program in the affiliate **Marketplace** to attract new partners. Configure the published listing in **Outreach → Marketplace listing**. The similarly named card under **Settings → Marketplace** stores a separate readiness flag and is not the publication owner.
