# Build a registration form

## What it does

Each program has an **Affiliate Registration** page where prospective affiliates sign up. Wand Referrals gives you a drag-and-drop **form builder** to customize the fields, sections, and copy that registrants see.

## Open the builder

From a program, open **Affiliate Registration**. The builder is organized into sections; you can:

* add, clone, edit, enable/disable, reorder, or delete fields,
* start from field templates, and
* undo/redo changes.

## Entry points (share your form)

The builder gives you copyable URLs:

* **Registration URL** — the public signup page (e.g. `https://<yourstore>/apps/affiliate/register`).
* **Portal login URL** — where existing affiliates sign in.

Share the registration URL in emails, social posts, or on your site.

## After someone registers

* The new affiliate is created as **Active** if the program auto-approves, otherwise **Pending**.
* They see a thank-you page (with next steps that depend on approval outcome).
* If the email matches an existing pending or rejected affiliate in the same program, the affiliate must verify the existing password or use the one-time email confirmation link before a **reactivation request** is raised for you. The link expires after 30 minutes and can be used once.
* A registration page for a different program cannot be used to reactivate the existing account.
* Agreement acceptance starts disabled. Replace the instructional Terms and Privacy copy with your approved program terms before enabling it; Wand refuses enabled placeholder copy.
* When agreement acceptance is enabled, Wand stores the exact agreement revision accepted for each distinct registration or reactivation lifecycle and includes that history in the affiliate's data export (see [Approval workflow](https://github.com/wand-referrals-app/wand-referrals/tree/codex/gitbook-docs-foundation/docs/manual/affiliates/approval-workflow/README.md)).
