# Bring your data

## What it does

The **Migration Center** imports your affiliates, their coupons, and program mapping from another platform via CSV — with a **safe dry-run** before anything is written. Open it from the **Migration** nav item.

## Supported sources

| Source | Files | Imports |
| --------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------ |
| **UpPromote** | Affiliates export (required) + connected products/customers (optional) | Affiliates, coupons, program mapping |
| **Jaka** | Affiliates export (required) + coupon export (optional) | Affiliates, coupons, program mapping |
| **Refersion** | Affiliates export (required) | Affiliates, coupons, program mapping |
| **Generic CSV** | Wand migration template (required) | Affiliates, coupons, program mapping |

For UpPromote and Jaka, a **coupon column is required**. What does **not** import (in this beta): historical referrals/sales, payout history, provider payout configs, advanced email templates, portal theming, and (for UpPromote) custom CSS, or (for Jaka) MLM tree metadata. Sales are not an import target — only affiliates, coupons, and program mapping.

## The five-step flow

1. **Source** — pick your platform. The panel shows the expected columns and what will/won't migrate.
2. **CSV dry-run (no live writes)** — upload or paste your CSV. You get KPIs: rows parsed, warnings, conflicts, and a **readiness verdict** (Not started / Ready / Ready with warnings / Blocked). Nothing is written yet.
3. **Program mapping** — map each detected source program to one of your Wand programs.
4. **Coupon continuity** — the tool checks your import coupons against existing coupon ownership and flags conflicts. Codes must match the required format (uppercase/alphanumeric with `-`/`_`).
5. **Launch readiness + apply** — review the four summary cards ("What will import successfully?", "What needs attention first?", "What's not coming over yet?", "Am I safe to proceed later?"), then **Run apply (beta)**. Results show Created / Updated / Skipped / Failed / Warnings with a per-row outcome table.

## Safe to re-run (idempotent)

Apply is **idempotent**: re-running the same reviewed plan detects a "safe replay" and does **not** create duplicates. This means an interrupted or repeated apply won't double-import your affiliates.
